Alabama A&M to welcome Keshia Knight Pulliam for Women’s Week Tea on The Hill

NORMAL — Emmy-nominated actress, producer, and entrepreneur Keshia Knight Pulliam will take center stage as the keynote speaker for Tea on The Hill this week at Alabama A&M.

The signature event is part of Women’s Week 2025, a dynamic, week-long celebration recognizing the power, resilience, and leadership of women. It is slated for Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at Elmore Gym.

Under the theme “AccelerateHER: Women Leading the Way,” Women’s Week will offer a series of engaging events designed to inspire, empower, and uplift women in leadership, business, personal growth, and more.

A household name since the age of five, Pulliam won hearts worldwide as Rudy Huxtable on the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series “The Cosby Show.” Her career has since flourished, with standout roles in “Beauty Shop” alongside Queen Latifah, “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne,” and various Lifetime and Hallmark productions.

Beyond acting, Pulliam is a trailblazing director, producer, and entrepreneur. A graduate of Spelman College, she co-founded The Fearless Fund, a venture capital fund dedicated to supporting women of color in business. She also launched Kamp Kizzy, a nonprofit empowering young girls globally, and ventured into the culinary world with Keshia’s Kitchen Collection, a premium spice line.
