A&M, UAH grad to head Revlon division

NEW YORK — Tchernavia Rocker has been appointed to the role of Chief People Officer at Revlon, the company announced.

Rocker will join Revlon effective June 3 and report directly to Chief Executive Officer Liz Smith, Revlon said in a news release. She will play an advisory role in building Revlon’s ethnic hair care portfolio.

She is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a bachelor of science degree in nursing and earned her MBA from Alabama A&M University.

Rocker has leadership experience in human resources as well as organizational transformation, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), corporate strategy and sustainability.

She most recently was Under Armour’s chief people & transformation officer. Rocker also served nearly 20 years in human resources leadership roles at Harley-Davidson, including as vice president and chief human resources officer. Prior to that, she served in various Human Resources and operations roles at Goodyear Dunlop Tire North America
