Annual Florence Witches Ride to benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library

FLORENCE — Get your broomsticks ready and prepare for a night of frightful fun.

The annual Witches Ride is taking off Thursday for a fun celebration of Halloween and a fundraiser for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, making it a spellbinding evening for an important cause.

Witches of all ages are encouraged to register, dress in their best costumes, and ride through town on decorated bikes, golf carts, or floats. There are prizes for the best costumes and decorations.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a program that provides free books to children from birth to age 5. By joining the Witches Ride, participants will be helping to promote early childhood literacy and spread the joy of reading.

Families are invited to come out, with children encouraged to dress in costume and line the streets to collect candy from the witches as they ride by.

Sponsorships are available for businesses looking to show their support. There are a variety of sponsorship packages to choose from, each offering unique promotional opportunities. For sponsorship inquiries, email [email protected]

When the ride is over, the fun continues with an adult-only after-party. Local restaurants will be participating, offering special food and drink deals for those who want to keep the spooky vibes going into the night.
