ATHENS — The Limestone County Economic Development Association and the Athens Limestone Chamber of Commerce are accepting scholarship applications to pursue a degree or training in construction, information technology, advanced manufacturing or healthcare. The $1,500 academic scholarship is for Limestone County residents.

Money for the scholarship is raised through the Night Out at Toyota Field fundraiser hosted by the Chamber and LCEDA; and from proceeds from LCEDA’s annual golf tournament at the Canebrake Club.

Click here to apply; the deadline is April 14.

The recipient will be considered an ambassador for LCEDA/ALCOC, and must agree to photographs take of them and their families at the award ceremony this summer.
