HUNTSVILLE — The first Self Storage Plus facility in Alabama will open next month in South Huntsville, Arcland Property announced.

The newly constructed property is at 2918 Green Cove Road, near Redstone Arsenal gates and the Cottages at Oak Grove Dairy, Arcland said in a news release.

“We’re thrilled to bring Self Storage Plus to Huntsville, a rapidly growing community with an increasing demand for high-quality storage solutions,” said Noah Mehrkam, CEO of Arcland and Self Storage Plus. “Our team has worked hard to deliver a secure, convenient, and customer-focused facility that meets the needs of residents, and we look forward to contributing to the continued growth and success of Huntsville.”

The state-of-the-art facility will feature two single-story buildings with a variety of unit sizes, from 5-by-5 to 10-by-30. Units will include climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled options.

Arcland said security for the facility includes 24/7 video recording, well-lit premises, and secure-gated access for customers.

The Huntsville facility represents another collaboration between Arcland and Self Storage Plus, with Arcland leading the development and Self Storage Plus overseeing operations and customer service, the news release said.

The development was financed by Bryant Bank. The facility will offer online reservations, contactless rentals, and exceptional service.
