Bank Independent has announced the addition of Roland Adams as assistant vice president and sales officer for Madison County.
Adams joins the North Alabama-based bank with six years of experience in the financial industry, where he focused on community lending and client relationship development.
According to the bank, Adams also brings professional experience in retail, construction and supply chain logistics, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges and growth needs faced by business owners.
“I am excited to be a part of the amazing team at Bank Independent,” Adams said. “I look forward to serving the Madison community and surrounding areas. No matter the financial need, I am ready and willing to help in any way I can.”
Bank Independent officials said Adams will work with local businesses and customers to provide lending solutions and financial guidance through the bank’s West Madison Sales Office.
Adams attended Samford University, where he played four years on the school’s football team. Bank Independent said that experience helped shape his leadership style and emphasis on communication and teamwork.
“Roland’s passion for creating strong relationships combined with his leadership abilities make him an outstanding addition to our team in Madison,” said Jason Windham, president of Bank Independent. “His commitment to serving others with excellence reflects the values of Bank Independent, and we are excited to have him helping us make a positive difference in the lives of our clients and communities.”
Founded in 1947, Bank Independent operates 33 traditional sales offices across North Alabama in addition to digital banking operations and community outreach programs.
