Bank Independent celebrated the grand opening of its new MidCity Huntsville sales office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking an expanded presence in one of the city’s fastest-growing districts.
The new 3,000-square-foot facility is located at the front of the MidCity District, replacing a temporary location that had operated in the area for several years.
At the ribbon cutting last month, bank officials said the permanent office will provide greater visibility, improved accessibility, and stronger opportunities to build relationships with customers in Huntsville and Madison County.
“This office represents our commitment to Huntsville long-term,” said DeMarco McClain, Madison County area president at Bank Independent. “Our MidCity sales office allows us to meet customers where they are, whether they’re starting businesses, buying a home, planning for the future, or simply looking for a financial partner who knows their name.”
Designed in an industrial modern style, the new office blends Bank Independent’s traditional aesthetic with contemporary architectural elements. Bank leaders said the design creates a welcoming environment for customers while supporting efficient operations for employees.
“We believe that our facilities are a reflection of us as individuals,” said Macke Mauldin, CEO of Bank Independent. “We’ve always believed as a family that we need to provide our team with a great place to work that’s safe, attractive, and conducive to doing the work.”
The ribbon-cutting also featured remarks from Lindsey Pattillo Keane, executive director of the MidCity District, who welcomed Bank Independent to the entertainment and retail hub.
“From my experience, Bank Independent is community-minded, hospitable, and focused on serving the customer,” Keane said. “We are thrilled that you’re here.”
The MidCity Huntsville sales office offers extended hours tailored to the district’s busy schedule. Lobby hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., while drive-thru service is available Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sales manager Bailey Lovell and his team will staff the location.
Bank Independent operates more than 33 locations across North Alabama, along with a digital sales office, and continues to emphasize service, integrity, and community involvement, company officials said.
Founded in 1947, Bank Independent is a locally owned community bank serving North Alabama. The bank focuses on relationship-based banking and encourages employee involvement through volunteer service in the communities it serves.
