Big Al and Aubie ‘Dancing in March’ bobbleheads unveiled

HUNTSVILLE — To celebrate Alabama and Auburn’s upcoming Sweet 16 appearances this week, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers Dancing in March Bobbleheads.

The No. 1 seed Auburn faces on Michigan on Friday in the Sweet 16 and Alabama will take on BYU on Thursday.

The limited edition bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of the University of Alabama and Auburn University.

“We’re excited to add Alabama and Auburn Bobbleheads to our Dancing in March bobblehead series as both teams look to get back to the Final Four and capture each school’s first Men’s Basketball National Championship,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “March Madness is one of the best times of the year and we know that Alabama and Auburn fans, alumni, students, faculty, and staff will enjoy these new bobbleheads.”

Standing on court-textured bases, the bobbleheads feature Alabama’s mascot, Big Al, and Auburn’s mascot, Aubie, in a dancing pose with a bracket and team logo behind them.

The bobbleheads are the newest in the “Dancing in March” series which started with 10 teams during last year’s NCAA Tournament. Each bobblehead is individually numbered to 2,025.
