NORMAL — Alabama A&M University will look for its third straight victory as the Bulldogs welcome Lane College to Louis Crews Stadium for the final night game of the season.
Kickoff for the Boots & Buckles with Butch/Suicide Awareness Night game against the Dragons is set for 6 p.m. Saturday.
The game marks just the seventh meeting in the series. The Bulldogs own a 5-0-1 record in the series, which began during the 1948 season.
“Last week was an outstanding victory for this institution and this program,” Alabama A&M head coach Sam Shade said. “This is a new week, and we have another good opponent that will be looking to get an upset victory over a Division I opponent. We cannot take them (Lane College) lightly.
“We did continue to improve off the win last weekend and are very excited to be playing in front of the home crowd again.”
The game will be broadcast on SWAC TV wit Mo Carter (play-by-play) and Tolly Carr (analyst) on the call. Fans can also tune into WJAB (90.9 FM) as Thai Floyd (play-by-play), Maurice Brooks (analyst), Evan Hayes (pregame and postgame) and Chauncy Sanders (pregame and postgame) will bring the action.
