The ceremony at the company’s Wynn Drive office was presented by the Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce and speakers included U.S. Rep. Dale Strong and Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle.

“MDW has experienced remarkable growth, starting with 12 employees in 2018 and now boasting a workforce of 205 across 16 states with 160 employees here in Huntsville,” said Scott Phillips, vice president of Information Systems, Huntsville Operations. “This growth trajectory is set to continue with the recent acquisition of two significant contracts.

“This growth is a direct reflection of the leadership we have at both the local and federal levels. Rep. Strong and Sen. (Katie) Britt have been instrumental in advocating for north Alabama in Congress, ensuring funding for programs headquartered, managed or executed at Redstone Arsenal is allocated.”

The Huntsville office is MDW’s base for key corporate operations staff and support to the Missile Defense Agency, Army, and NASA clients. Among its employees, MDW said three vice presidents are North Alabama natives.

MDW has been a member of the Chamber since 2019 and was recently named Best Place for Working Parents and contender for Best Places to Work.

“The substantial growth MDW has achieved over the past six years is a testament to the opportunities rooted here in Huntsville,” Phillips said. “Huntsville is a thriving, growing city with a very bright future and MDW is proud to be part of the fabric that makes this such a great place.”
