The Decatur PD said it received information in January that a resident in the 1500 block of Magnolia Street SE was uploading child sexual abuse material via a social media app.

Epps was developed as a suspect during an investigation by Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, who provided information to appropriate social media platforms as well as other entities.

Officers executed a search warrant Wednesday at Epps’ residence Wednesday where he was found to be in possession of at least three videos of child sexual abuse material. Epps was arrested and taken to Morgan County Jail.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and more charges are anticipated.
