HUNTSVILLE — Yoga is as yoga does when businesses around Huntsville celebrate Yoga Week next month.

Whether yoga is your great release or it has always tied you up in knots, Light on Yoga Fitness has partnered with local businesses to introduce all levels of free yoga classes from beginner to master at many of Huntsville’s favorite relaxation spots around town. Classes will be taught by some of Huntsville’s best known yoga instructors.

This year’s Yoga Week (March 20-26) classes can he found at Bridge Street Town Centre, Old Black Bear Brewing Company, Burritt on the Mountain, Village of Providence, Stovehouse, U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Lowe Mill, MidCity District and the Orion Amphitheater.

“Huntsville Yoga Week was created with North Alabama’s growing yoga community at the forefront,” said Connor Humphrey, co-owner of Light On Yoga Fitness. “We believe yoga is a practice for anyone and everyone.

“This will be a week filled with good company, great classes and amazing venues.”

HUNTSVILLE YOGA WEEK SCHEDULE

  • March 20 – 5:30 p.m. at Bridge Street Town Centre in Huntsville
  • March 21 – 5:30 p.m. at Old Black Bear Brewing Company in Madison
  • March 22 – 8 a.m. at Burritt on the Mountain in Huntsville
  • March 22 – 5:30 p.m. at the Village of Providence
  • March 23 – 5:30 p.m. at Stovehouse
  • March 24 – 8 a.m. at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center (featuring live cello music)
  • March 24 – 5:30 p.m. at Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment
  • March 25 – 9 a.m. at the MidCity Distric
  • March 26 – 10 a.m. at the Orion Amphitheater

Those who are unable to attend Huntsville Yoga Week can enjoy free yoga classes and $5 aerial classes at the Light On Yoga Fitness studio all week long.
