HUNTSVILLE — Due to the chance of inclement weather during event times, tonight’s scheduled Downtown Huntsville Inc. events have been postponed or canceled for the safety and comfort of attendees.
Art Walk has been rescheduled to Aug. 23, from 5-8 p.m. at Courthouse Square. This event will still feature local artisan makers, live music, and free activities.
The Legacy of the Invisible celebratory event has been postponed until 6:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at the corner of Clinton Avenue and Washington Street. The program will feature remarks from NASA scientists and Arts Huntsville, offering insights into the artwork’s inspiration and significance. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the artist, Float, whose creativity brings science to life through his art.
The Food Truck Rally has been canceled; the next scheduled rally is Sept. 20. Additionally, Light Up the Night hosted by Huntsville Parks and Recreation has also been canceled with no plans to reschedule the event.
“While we are disappointed to postpone or cancel these anticipated community events, the comfort of our attendees and vendors is our utmost concern,” said Rob Buddo, president and CEO of DHI. “We’re working to ensure that when these events do take place, they’ll be even more enjoyable for everyone involved.”
