HUNTSVILLE – The annual Panoply Arts Festival returns to Big Spring Park in Huntsville and that means downtown traffic patterns will be affected, including road closures.

The festival is Friday through Sunday.

To ensure the safety of festivalgoers and allow for proper setup and breakdown, the following traffic adjustments will be in effect:

Today 8 a.m.

  • Williams Avenue westbound will close from Church Street to Dr. Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard.
Wednesday noon
  • Church Street will close from Parking Garage M, 100 Church St., to Williams Avenue.
Friday–Sunday
  • Monroe Street will be restricted to southbound traffic only from Clinton Avenue to Williams Avenue.
All streets are expected to reopen by 5 p.m. April 28.

HPD encourages drivers to use caution in the area, observe all detours and signs and allow additional time for travel.
