FLORENCE – With a full day of family friendly fun, Florence is prepping for its annual Spirit of Freedom Celebration on the Fourth of July.
Presented by radio station WLAY 100.1, the 42nd annual Independence Day party will be at McFarland Park on the riverfront.
The free event features food trucks, live music throughout the day, and the traditional Tennessee River fireworks display after sunset.
For early birds, there’s a free yoga class at 8 a.m. with Empowered Yoga. Click here to sign up.
Food trucks will begin serving at 11 a.m., and DJ Nate Slaughter will get the tunes started at 3:30 p.m.
The music lineup includes:
- 6 p.m. – PJ & The Bear
- 7 p.m. – Camacho
- 8 p.m. – Mama’Nim, featuring Angela Hacker; James Leblanc; Brad and Cissy Guin; Steve Vickery; Mike Dylan; and Marty
Bring lawn chairs, blankets, family, and friends for the celebration by the river.
