Brooklyn pizza has landed at Clift Farm in Madison.
Grimaldi’s Pizzeria officially opened its newest location at 461 John Henry Way in Madison, marking the brand’s third Alabama restaurant and its 45th nationwide. The 3,940-square-foot restaurant seats up to 179 guests and features a private party room for up to 40.
The Madison location is operated by Power Brands Hospitality Group, the North Alabama franchise partner that first brought Grimaldi’s to Huntsville in 2022. Founded in 1991, Power Brands operates more than 50 restaurants across Huntsville, Birmingham and Charlotte, North Carolina, including One Eleven, Prohibition and Urban Cookhouse.
Grimaldi’s is known for coal-fired brick-oven pizzas built on a proprietary dough recipe with fresh mozzarella and techniques rooted in more than a century of Brooklyn pizza-making tradition. The menu also includes calzones, salads, starters and New York-style cheesecake. The restaurant’s interior features black-and-white photography and handcrafted wine bottle chandeliers.
Grimaldi’s Chief Operating Officer Michael Flaum said Madison has been on the expansion radar for some time.
“Madison has long been a key focus as we continue expanding across Alabama, and Clift Farm offers a vibrant, accessible environment with strong community engagement,” Flaum said. “We’re excited to introduce our coal-fired pizza to new guests and become part of the area’s dynamic dining scene.”
Kumar Patel, managing partner at Power Brands Hospitality Group, said the enthusiasm for the brand across North Alabama made the move a natural one.
“We’ve seen strong enthusiasm for the brand across North Alabama, making Madison a natural next step for our continued growth,” Patel said. “We’re looking forward to welcoming guests and continuing to grow alongside the community.”
