HUNTSVILLE – Kids are invited to throw their best cast this weekend for the Wally Vess Youth Fishing Rodeo.

The popular fishing event returns Saturday to Huntsville’s Brahan Spring Park. The event is from 7-10 a.m. and includes prizes for young anglers ages 6-12.

Thanks to support from Buster’s Bait and Tackle and over 20 community partners, the lagoon will be brimming with more than 500 pounds of catfish, including 20 tagged fish worth $100 each and one specially tagged fish worth $1,000.
