Huntsville Parks & Recreation has prepared a frightfully fun lineup of Halloween events for all the little ghouls and boos to have a month of spooky celebrations.

On Oct. 23, The Huntsville Police Department and Huntsville Parks & Recreation invited the community to the fifth annual Halloween Party & Haunted House at the Jaycee Building in John Hunt Park. There will be trick-or-treating, bounce houses, carnival games and, of course, a haunted house.
“Halloween has become a great opportunity for families to come together and enjoy everything John Hunt Park has to offer,” Huntsville Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett said. “We’re excited to partner with HPD again to provide a free event where families can make memories and enjoy the season together.”
Admission is free for all ages to join from 6- 9 p.m. There will be food trucks on-site with food items available for purchase. Throw on your capes and crowns and spooky masks and join in on the Halloween fun.
If there is more than one costume waiting in the closet, do not worry about which to pick because the Halloween Parks & Haunted House is just one of many events that Huntsville Parks & Recreation have brewing this season. Families can also look forward to the Boo Bash on Oct. 22, Howling on The Moon on Oct. 29, and Frightful Fun Fest on Oct. 31— just to name a few. All of these events are free to attend thanks to Huntsville Parks & Recreation.
Gather your little monsters and assemble your spooky skeletons and have a frightfully fun October in Huntsville!
