Huntsville Music Office to highlight recent national recognition at Lumberyard meetup

HUNTSVILLE – Whether you’re a musician, industry pro or just passionate about Huntsville’s sound, the Huntsville Music Office is providing a “backstage pass” to what’s next for our music scene.

The Music Office is hosting its Quarterly Music Meetup from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at The Lumberyard Huntsville.

“We’re excited to share updates about the city’s music initiatives and economic development efforts,” Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella said. “We’ll also highlight how Huntsville recently hit the national spotlight at Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies Summit and Gala in New York City.”

This is a chance to mingle with local music industry stakeholders, network with fellow artists and connect with fans and professionals who are driving the city’s creative energy forward.

Attendees can also tour the newly reopened Lumberyard and learn how it is becoming a community hub and shining a spotlight on Huntsville artists.

“As we continue to grow into this new era of Huntsville’s music ecosystem, we are proud to host the Music Office Meetup at the newly re-opened Lumberyard to showcase the space and upcoming community programming,” said Ryan Murphy, partner at TVG Hospitality. “It’s always an honor to work side by side with the city in its commitment to the music community.”

Refreshments will be available for purchase, and the conversation is free.
