Huntsville Parks & Recreation summer camp registration to open

HUNTSVILLE – Ready for a summer filled with adventure and fun?

Huntsville Parks & Recreation will again offer full-day and specialty half-day camps designed to keep kids engaged and excited.

“Camp is a classic way to spend the summer,” Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett said. “Our team is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where kids can explore, learn new skills and make lasting memories with their peers.”

Registration for summer camps opens online Monday at 8 a.m. With the new online platform, families can easily sign up for camps, ensuring a smooth and convenient registration process.

Summer camps are available to City of Huntsville residents and Huntsville City School students entering grades 1-6. Full-day camps will run from June 2 to July 25, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., while themed specialty half-day camps will have varying dates and times.

To make the registration process even easier, parents and guardians are encouraged to create their online accounts in advance. Camp spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring each camper’s safety and enjoyment. A $30 registration fee is required for all full-day camps.

Once a new account has been established, signing up for camps is easy. Just click here and click the “Summer Camp 2025” link to find out more about the camps and register.
