HUNTSVILLE – It’s that time of year again for Huntsville business owners to make plans to renew their operating license for 2025.

Business owners may start submitting their renewals Jan. 2 through the City’s online portal. The deadline is Jan. 31. 

While online renewals are preferred, new or existing business owners wanting to submit applications or renewal information in person can do so on the third floor of City Hall, 305 Fountain Circle, during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Businesses needing to update information, including address or contact information, can do so by submitting an Account Maintenance Form. Additionally, if a business plans to close, this form will also allow owners to finalize their account.
