HUNTSVILLE — As Huntsville Utilities transitions to a new enterprise software system, its administrative offices will be closed Friday and Aug. 11, the utility said.

The closures – which include the Drive Through Payment Center at 1100 Pulaski Pike, the Customer Service Contact Center and the “My Account” section of www.hsvutil.org. – are necessary so software installations and upgrades can be performed.

While the offices will be open next week (Aug. 4-8), the system won’t be fully up and running until Aug. 11. Customers who need to do business with Huntsville Utilities are urged to do so before Friday or after Aug. 11 to avoid delays.

As the utility transitions to this new software system, officials said payment processing may be delayed. However, no late fees will be applied during this transition period.

On Aug. 11, customers are urged to download the new Huntsville Utilities mobile app (MyHSVUTIL) in the App Store or Google Play.
