Huntsville’s NovaTech Solutions wins first prime contract with EWAAC

HUNTSVILLE — NovaTec Solutions, a joint venture between Huntsville-based companies PeopleTec and Noetic Strategies, won a prime contract on the Eglin Wide Agile Acquisition Contract. This is the first prime awarded to NovaTec.

The EWAAC is a multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with a value of $46 billion over a 2-year base period, with 3- and 5-year options, supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Armament Directorate.

EWAAC is the Air Force’s contract vehicle for acquiring Digital Trinity (i.e., digital engineering and management, agile processes, and open architecture), Armaments Development, and Business Analytics services.

The EWAAC’s primary objective is to provide a rapid means to obtain weapons technologies, apply innovative solutions, and characterize new technologies and system concepts. These provide evolutionary, revolutionary, and disruptive capabilities for the Air Force through weapons systems requirements development, studies, and demonstrations.
