IronMountain Solutions’ employee fund awards $62,000 to local nonprofits

HUNTSVILLE — The IronMountain Solutions’ Employee Peaks Fund recently awarded $62,000 to 12 Madison County nonprofit organizations. The presentation was made during a reception at the IronMountain corporate office in Cummings Research Park.

The Employee Peaks Fund has donated more than $360,000 to the community since it was established in 2018.

“It’s important that we contribute to these deserving organizations who make monumental differences in their communities,” said IMS President and CEO, Hank Isenberg. “I’m grateful that 82 percent of our employee population participate in this effort to spread the missions of these nonprofits.”

The IMS Employee Peaks Fund is comprised of a 12-member board of directors. The grants are awarded twice a year based on votes from employee contributors. Grant applications will be accepted this fall. Visit https://www.ironmountainsolutions.com/community/.

Each organization that receives an Employee Peaks Fund grant must have quality of life missions such as arts and culture, education, and health and wellness, basic needs, economic opportunity, environment, neighborhoods and communities, and recreation.

The organizations that received grants are AGAPE of North Alabama; the Alabama Non-Violent Offenders Organization; Christmas Charities Year Round; Family Services Center; First Stop; Fostering Connections & the North Alabama Foster Closet; Greater Huntsville Humane Society; Huntsville Community of Hope; the Madison County 310 Board; North Alabama Coalition for the Homeless; ShowerUp Huntsville; and the Stacy Wolfe Breast Cancer Foundation.

“I am so proud and thankful for the opportunity to give back to our community through the Employee Peaks Fund,” said Danielle Mazur, chair of the 2021-2022 Employee Peaks Fund board of directors. “It is humbling to witness firsthand the impact that can be made when we come together to make a difference.

“Thank you to all of our generous employee contributors for making the Employee Peaks Fund possible.”
