MADISON – Jupiter CNC Systems Southeast recently teamed up with its distributor team, Michigan-based AHB Tooling and Machinery, for product training at Jupiter’s warehouse in Madison.

While the training and best practices were aimed at enhancing customer service, support, and training, Jupiter’s team also unveiled its 2023 tooling machine product line.

The two-day event educated distributors on the new products, parts, marketing, installation, maintenance, and industry trends.

“We were excited to see such a strong level of interest in the training event,” said Luke Tankersley, vice president of sales. “The Jupiter team recognizes and appreciates the commitment of AHB Tooling and Machinery in attending our training to stay up to date on our products, quality parts, and best practices, in addition to learning and sharing relevant information and insights from AHB team members.”

AHB’s Vice President of Sales Jon Hays and machinery specialists Greg Hissong and Jay Caldwell experienced the new machines and took home information to educate their customers.

Jupiter also hosted a team-building event at Civil Axe Throwing following the first day of training.

The informal atmosphere let the partners discuss industry knowledge and fieldwork with Jupiter CNC’s process engineering, sales, and marketing team members.

In 2021, with the rapid growth of engineering and automation projects across the Southeast and with the Huntsville area becoming the nexus of automotive, aerospace, and defense industry manufacturing and R&D, Jupiter established a base of operations in Madison to better serve its regional customers.

The expansive Madison warehouse is home to Jupiter’s regional operations staff and serves as Jupiter’s primary automation proving ground. The facility has an array of products on display and “energized” – meaning they are ready for demonstrations and sample production cycles.

It also features a large spare parts inventory and an inventory of the company’s products for sale.

The Jupiter team’s mission is to drive the revitalization of American manufacturing by continuously introducing advanced technologies and training to the next generation of American talent, said Tankersley.

“The way to make this vision a reality is through the relationships we build with our customers,” he said.
