Lamb to provide HudsonAlpha update

HUNTSVILLE — The field of genomics is rapidly evolving and the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology is staying on the cutting edge of it all.

As part of HudsonAlpha’s 15th anniversary celebration, HudsonAlpha President Dr. Neil Lamb will discuss recent discoveries in the world of genomics and how those discoveries provide hope for a healthier future.

As new technologies emerge and scientists understand more and more about genomics and DNA, important discoveries are being made at HudsonAlpha and other research institutes across the world. From applications in agricultural science that address global food insecurity to advancements in human health that impact personalized clinical care, our growing knowledge of DNA is helping to tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

The public is invited to the Aug. 17 update at the Jackson Center on HudsonAlpha’s campus, 6001 Moquin Drive in Huntsville. Attendance and parking are free.
