HUNTSVILLE – Everything about The Orion Amphitheater makes it the focus point for North Alabama yogis.

Now, its partner Light on Yoga Fitness is introducing a donation-based yoga series at the Orion, for the Huntsville community this summer.

All-level classes run June 11 to July 2.

The event will benefit Thrive Alabama, an organization that provides quality, affordable healthcare to North Alabama.

“We believe in giving back to our community,” said Connor Humphrey who, with Hannah Sledd, owns Light on Yoga Fitness. “Each year we want to partner with an organization we believe in and Thrive is the perfect fit for summer 2023.”

Humphrey said he and Sledd had an idea to bring something different to Huntsville.

Light On Yoga Fitness provides a studio where the yoga community can go and there is something for everyone, while respecting the creed that yoga is a personal practice.
