(U,S. Army)

Lockheed Martin has received a $212.7 million contract modification for PATRIOT Advanced Capability-3 logistics support, missile repair and launcher repair and return, with the Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal serving as the contracting activity.

The modification brings the total cumulative value of the contract to $875.6 million. Work is expected to be completed by Feb. 24, 2027.

Army Contracting Command and the Aviation and Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal manage the entire global PAC-3 inventory. Lockheed Martin also maintains a significant presence in Cummings Research Park, where work on a $4.7 billion PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement contract is also designated to be performed.

The PAC-3 is the Army’s primary surface-to-air missile defense system, designed to intercept and destroy incoming ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and aircraft.
