Madison Hot Cocoa Stroll warming shoppers ahead of the holidays, supporting retailers

MADISON — It may not be quite hot cocoa weather yet, but that’s not stopping the Madison Chamber of Commerce from inviting residents to shop locally while enjoying the chocolatey tasty beverage.

The Madison Hot Cocoa Stroll is back for its second year. Through Dec. 15, shoppers will have the chance to enjoy the festive spirit while entering to win prizes by simply supporting the local retailers.

Participating businesses are encouraged to serve hot cocoa packets or fresh hot cocoa to shoppers as they drop off their cards.

Here’s how to participate:

  1. Visit a Participating Retailer: A full list of participating locations is available below.
  2. Make a Purchase: Spend at least $25 at any participating shop before Dec. 15.
  3. Fill Out Your Card: Complete an official “Hot Cocoa Stroll” card
  4. Drop Your Card: Place your completed card in the official “Hot Cocoa Stroll” box at the register of each participating shop.
  5. Tune In to Win: Visit the chamber’s Instagram channel at 2 p.m. Dec. 18
