Melissa Etheridge, Indigo Girls to headline Huntsville’s 2025 Women in Music Week

HUNTSVILLE — Music icons Melissa Etheridge and Indigo Girls will perform at The Orion Amphitheater as part of Huntsville’s 2025 Women in Music Week.

This electrifying performance promises a celebration of artistry, empowerment and legacy, amplifying the voices of women in the music industry.

The Sept. 20 concert highlights the impact of Women in Music Week, an annual citywide event spotlighting the achievements and contributions of women across all facets of music.

“We are thrilled to welcome Melissa Etheridge and Indigo Girls to Huntsville for this incredible celebration,” said Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella. “Their artistry embodies the spirit of Women in Music Week, and their performance at The Orion will be a powerful aspect of our initiative to uplift women in our industry.”

Women in Music Week Huntsville was established in 2020 to provide a platform for women musicians, producers, educators and industry professionals to share their stories and inspire future generations. The initiative aligns with Huntsville’s growing reputation as a vibrant music city and reinforces its commitment to inclusivity and creativity.
