HUNTSVILLE – Mercury Systems welcomed U.S. Rep. Dale Strong to its Huntsville facility on Discovery Drive in Cummings Research Park this week. The technology company showcased how it enables its defense and aerospace customers to accelerate innovation.

“It was great to meet with the Mercury team and see how they are applying commercial innovation to the national security missions that keep our country safe,” Strong said. “North Alabama is proud to have a company like Mercury that embodies the dedication and technical insight that we are known for.”

Mercury’s growing Huntsville facility specializes in the design and manufacturing of secure processing capabilities, components and systems. Nearly 100 employees work in Mercury’s Huntsville facility.

“For more than a decade, Mercury Systems has been a pillar of the Huntsville aerospace and defense community, delivering electronic solutions in support of the warfighter,” said Craig Goodwin, Mercury’s senior director of Engineering and Huntsville site lead. “It was an honor to host Congressman Strong and his staff to highlight the work our team is doing in the design, manufacturing, and integration of mission-critical capabilities.”
