(City of Huntsville contributed)

HUNTSVILLE – Nominations are open for the 2025 Huntsville Beautification Awards.

The City of Huntsville’s Beautification Board is accepting applications with April 7 as the deadline to submit the entry form and $50 fee for each property nominated. Judging will take place after Memorial Day.

Payments can be submitted through PayPal on the digital nominations or via check mailed to P.O. Box 738, Huntsville, AL 35804. Make checks payable to the Huntsville Beautification Board.

City of Huntsville-licensed commercial, business or government properties within the city limits are eligible to be nominated. To qualify, the entity must be at least 1 year old. Properties that currently have a Beautification Award must reapply to be considered for a 2025 award.

Everything from the curb will be judged on first impressions, originality, distinction, design, quality of plants (trees, shrubs, flowers, ground cover, grass), maintenance, hardscape design and litter control.

Up to five properties may be nominated on each entry form. Lists of properties will not be accepted. For landscapers, a copy of a current business license is also required and may be uploaded with the entry form. Only one copy of the license per landscaper is needed.

For more information, email the Beautification Board or call Huntsville’s Green Team at 256-532-5326.
