HUNTSVILLE — All aboard!

An annual tradition rolls on this month with the North Alabama Railroad Museum’s North Star Limited Train Ride.

Santa will be on their viewing platform before and after each trip, and kids can get pics with Santa and give him their wish lists. Each child will receive a gift while on board. All riders will receive a drink and cookie, riders in coach 2006 will receive a hot drink, warm cookie, and souvenir mug.

For information and tickets, visit http://www.narm.info.

The museum, located in Chase, just east of Huntsville, feature the Chase Depot, the smallest union depot in the country since it served more than one railroad when in service.

If you visit the museum on a day when the train is running (see Train Ride Schedule), you can ride a vintage train over the museum’s own Mercury & Chase Railroad.

There are more than 30 pieces of major rolling stock including freight and passenger equipment and three historic locomotives.
