Huntsville’s Broadway Theatre League welcomes the national touring production of “Waitress” at the Von Braun Center in the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall from September 25, 2026, to September 27, 2026.
This show is a stop on the tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the musical. Originally premiering on Broadway in 2015, this hit musical features a beloved score by musician Sara Bareilles. The story follows Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker who channels her hurt and hope into the pies she creates at her small-town diner. She dreams of leaving the confines of the town and her turbulent marriage but it seems like it will always be just a dream. That is, until a baking contest and an unexpected connection show Jenna just how to turn her dream into a reality.
Tickets are available for purchase on Ticketmaster and currently range from $47 to $130. The run time of this show is two hours and 30 minutes, including an intermission. Parents are advised that this show does recommend viewers be aged 13 and older. More information on the content of the show can be found on the Broadway Theatre League website.
