PeopleTec announces five promotions to directorships and vice presidencies as company hits its stride in 2022

PeopleTec announced five company promotions this week. Both project managers and project leads, Carl Wood and Jeff Ragan, were awarded with promotions to company vice presidents, while three current program managers, Wes Hawkins, Mindy Finafrock and Troy Sutherland, have been elevated to program directors, expanding their current roles in their areas of expertise.

Carl Wood has been working in the DoD aviation and commercial aviation markets leading a new software development project to build an enterprise business intelligence platform for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), to be used in analyzing the total cost of ownership for their aviation assets.

An Army veteran, aviator and long-time advisor to the 160th SOAR, as vice president, he will increase his responsibility for continued product expansion and pursue new business opportunities for the company.

Jeff Ragan has been project lead and program manager involved in corporate business development activities. He currently leads a team providing cyber, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), data analytics, software development, enterprise IT and space support on various cross-domain projects supporting multiple customers.

As vice president, Ragan will continue providing operational leadership, program and workforce management, and business development, and continue to serve as program manager on PeopleTec’s MAADS and MATCH task orders supporting the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command.

In new directorships, Wes Hawkins, the company’s current deputy program manager for two contracts supporting cyber hardening and data analysis for space-based systems, will provide technical solutions and strategic expertise for PeopleTec’s cyber activities in his new position as director. He will continue to be focused on offensive and defensive cyberspace operations tool development, cyber range support, and Internet of Things (IoT)/industrial control systems (ICS)/supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) as well as provide project leadership for cyber-focused R&D projects supporting the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC).

Mindy Finafrock also served as a deputy program manager, providing management strategies and objectives through controls of budgets, policies, and procedures to ensure project success. As director, she will continue to lead projects supporting the US Army’s Program Executive Office Missiles & Space (PEO MS) and PEO Aviation and the USASMDC’s Technical Center.

Troy Sutherland, a seasoned program manager supporting DoD and DOJ customers in program management, strategy and financial management, data analysis, and business process analysis, also serves as a business development lead focusing on MDA and US Army PEO MS activities.

As director, Sutherland will provide strategic expertise for PeopleTec’s business development activities in targeted markets and continue providing program management support to the MDA and other customers while leading capture management efforts in those areas.
