Alabama 53 resurfacing starts Sunday night

HUNTSVILLE — The Alabama Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing two miles of Alabama 53/Jordan Lane in Huntsville this weekend, weather permitting.

According to the contractor, Rogers Group, crews will work on the $1.5 million project from Blake Bottom Road to north of Alabama 255 between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday through next Thursday.

ALDOT warns there may be traffic delays due to single-lane closures.
