‘Seriously nice’: Breeze adds Orlando, Charleston flights from Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE – Breeze Airways is launching two more services from Huntsville International Airport, the carrier announced today.

The “Seriously Nice” low-fare airline said it will add nonstop service to Orlando and one-stop/no plane-change service to Charleston, S.C. The two new stops will also come with special prices for a limited time.

“We at Huntsville International Airport welcome new, nonstop Orlando flights to Huntsville
on Breeze,” said Butch Roberts, CEO, Huntsville International Airport. “We are confident
that our customers will be thrilled to have this ‘seriously nice’ service to one of their favorite leisure destinations available just as vacation season begins.”

The nonstop service to Orlando starts at $49 one way, and a one-stop/no plane change “BreezeThru” route to Charleston starts at $69. The promotion must be purchased by Oct. 24 (10:59 p.m. CT) for travel by May 16, 2023, Breeze said. The carrier offers three price bundles: Nice, Nicer, and Nicest.

From Huntsville:

  • Orlando (Thursdays and Sundays, starting March 2, Nice from $49 one way; Nicer from
    $89); and
  • Charleston (One-stop/no plane change BreezeThru on Thursdays and Sundays, starting
March 2, Nice from $69 one way; Nicer from $109).

“As Breeze continues to grow, we’re excited to add more easy and affordable travel options
for our Guests in Huntsville,” said Tom Doxey, Breeze Airways’ president. “We know both
will be extremely popular, with Orlando being such a popular family-friendly destination and Charleston recently being named the best city in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure readers.”

Breeze currently serves Las Vegas and Tampa from Huntsville.

“When I spoke with Breeze Airways President Tom Doxey on his recent visit to Huntsville,
he wanted our community to know that Breeze wants to do business here because of the
people who call Huntsville home,” said Mark McDaniel, president of the Huntsville International Airport board. “He sees our need for convenient, low-cost, nonstop air service to leisure destinations, and Breeze is committed to filling that gap for us.”

The Nice and Nicer bundles are across the carrier’s fleet of Embraer 195 e-jets and Airbus A220s, while Nicest is only available on the A220s. Guests may also choose a Nice or Nicer bundle and add a premium, the company said. Breeze has ordered 80 new Airbus A220-300 aircraft, with options for 40 more.

Breeze doesn’t charge change or cancellation fees up to 15 minutes prior to departure and
offers other benefits such as free family seating and a la carte pricing. Flights are now on sale at www.flybreeze.com and via the Breeze app.

Fares displayed include taxes and government fees. Prices, rules, routes, and schedules are subject to change without notice.
