Siemens Government Technologies wins $295M Corps of Engineers contract

HUNTSVILLE — Siemens Government Technologies has won a $295 million contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Support Center, Huntsville. The Single Award Task Order Contract is for projects designed to increase operational efficiencies, safety, and security throughout federal facilities. Siemens Government Technologies is the federally focused arm of Siemens.

The contract is part of the Army’s Building Modernization and Automation Services and Technologies initiative. It has a five-year base period, plus two additional option years.

“SGT works closely with federal agencies to deliver the most modern building automation systems with open and backward compatible interfaces for efficient, safe and secure buildings,” said company interim President and CEO John Ustica. “We are pleased to have been selected for this worldwide contract supporting vital U.S. government infrastructure.”

SGT provides advanced building and security technologies for federal agencies. Additional products and services under this contract include the procurement and installation and maintenance and service of utility monitoring and control systems; HVAC systems; supervisory control and data acquisition systems and other automated control systems including fire alarm, electronic security, force protection measures, and other industrial control systems at worldwide federally owned buildings and facilities.
