Something new for Trash Pandas fans at Toyota Field

MADISON – “Take me out to the ballgame, take me out with the crowd …”

With Opening Day just three days away, Trash Pandas fans will see some changes to the fan experience lineup as they root root root for the home team this season.

The changes include Toyota Field’s inclusion as part of the new Town Madison Arts & Entertainment District, grab-and-go concession stands, field-facing seats in the Wayne’s Picnic Patio, options for customizable jerseys, improved security screenings, and more.

One of the biggest additions to the Trash Pandas’ calendar is “All You Can Eat Wednesdays” (excluding the three Education Day games on April 19, May 3, and Sept. 6).

All tickets are specially priced with a $9 increase to include a selection of unlimited food such as hot dogs, burgers, fries, nachos, popcorn and fountain drinks at the Gravity Grille and Dumpster Dive concession stands. The Bullpen Bar will also offer unlimited hot dogs and nachos.

Advance ticket prices for “All You Can Eat Wednesdays” start at $17 for seating on the Budweiser Berm, with box seats starting at $25. Full ticket options are available online.

Down the left-field line, the Wayne’s Picnic Patio has been renovated – the picnic tables have been replaced by field-facing seats with countertops. The Picnic Patio is reserved for groups of 10 or more and includes a 2 1/2-hour buffet style dinner.

Toyota Field is going green, as in green cups for alcoholic beverages.

With the new Town Madison Arts & Entertainment District designation, fans ages 21 and older can now carry their alcoholic drinks in the special green cups to other restaurants and bars inside Town Madison.

In response to a long-time request from fans, select jerseys and T-shirts will be able to be customized at The Junkyard team store. For $30, the shirts can be customized with a name and number. Fans can also bring in previously purchased Trash Pandas merchandise for customization.

At the Gravity Grille and Dumpster Dive concession stands, fans can buy some peanuts and Cracker Jack – and beverages – in grab-and-go style, picking up their items at the counter and paying at a kiosk on the way out. The team said this process will reduce wait times at the concession stands, allowing fans to get in and out quicker.

New security screening processes will help expedite entering Toyota Field, the team said. There is still a clear bag policy; specific information regarding acceptable bags can be found HERE.

As it has been since opening, Toyota Field is a cashless venue, accepting most major credit cards as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Click HERE for more information.
