HUNTSVILLE – The music lineup has been set for the inaugural South Star Festival coming to Huntsville in September.

Now, it’s time to create the food menu.

South Star Festival organizers have announced applications are open for food vendors interested in participating in the inaugural two-day event, scheduled for Sept. 28-29 at John Hunt Park.

“This is a great opportunity for vendors to connect with thousands of music fans and showcase their unique food offerings to a large, diverse audience of locals and visitors coming in from out of town,” Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella said.

The application process is exclusively for food vendors who would like to reserve a spot on the event site during the festival. Interested vendors can find the application form here.

The deadline to apply is July 12. Applying does not guarantee acceptance, and vendors will be notified if they are invited to participate at the festival.

South Star Music Festival aims to combine performances by internationally renowned artists, a substantial on-site sports bar and vibrant culinary options. For festival and ticket information, visit www.southstar music festival.com.

Festival producer C3 Presents announced in April that Blink-182, Gwen Stefani, Shinedown, Beck, Ludacris, TLC, Jane’s Addiction, Sublime and Goo Goo Dolls will top the bill of the two-day event. A complete list of performers can be found here.
