HUNTSVILLE — Looking for a fun and engaging way to keep your children active during Spring Break? Registration has opened for Huntsville Parks & Recreation’s Spring Break Camps.
Parks & Recreation is offering the option of full-day or half-day specialty camps. The camps, which run March 10-14, are open exclusively to Huntsville students in grades 1-6.
Registration links can be found on the respective Day Camp and Specialty Camp pages.
Held at various Huntsville Parks & Recreation facilities and led by highly trained staff members, the camps offer a mix of sports, arts, games and outdoor activities in a safe and structured environment. Campers will learn new skills, make friends and stay active while school is out.
“Our Spring Break Camps provide a fantastic opportunity for kids to explore new interests and enjoy enriching experiences close to home,” said Huntsville Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett. “Whether your child is an athlete, artist or just looking for some Spring Break fun, there are plenty of options to choose from.”
The cost for a full-day camp is $50 per week, with a discounted rate of $25 per week for each additional child in the same family. Half-day Art and STEAM specialty camps cost $25 for the first child and $10 for each additional child. Half-day Youth Pickleball, Boys Basketball, and Girls Basketball camps are free.
Payments can be made in cash, check, or credit/debit card, and must be submitted to the facility your child will attend before participation.
