State Home Builders honor Kilgore, Taylor, Cullman association

MONTGOMERY — A pair of long-time members were recognized and a local Home Builders Association member was the big winner in the recent Home Builders Association of Alabama annual convention.

HBAA President Kevin Pake presented President’s Trophies to Home Builders Associations in recognition of their outstanding service this year to their members, their communities, and the building industry.

Cullman County Home Builders Association, led by President Willy Hendrix, won the President’s Trophy for a Small Association.

Additionally, two North Alabamians were selected for induction into the Alabama Building Industry Hall of Fame, the highest honor given by the HBAA. They are Lynn Kilgore, retired Executive Director of the Huntsville Madison County Builders Association, and Dan Taylor, a builder member of the Marshall County Home Builders Association and HBAA Past President.
