Strong, Wahl to deliver keynote speeches at Madison County GOP campaign kickoff

MADISON — U.S. Rep. Dale Strong (R-Monrovia) and Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl are set to be the keynote speakers at Saturday’s Madison County GOP Candidate Campaign Kickoff event.

“All residents of Madison County are encouraged to attend this exciting event, meet our candidates, and hear from our distinguished speakers,” the organization wrote in a press statement. “This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about our Republican vision for the future and to show your support for our local candidates.”

The event is 1-3:30 p.m. at the veteran-owned Black Patch Distilling Co., 500 Lanier Road in Madison.

“As we enter the final stretch of the 2024 election cycle, it’s all hands on deck to bring home a big Republican win,” said Madison County GOP Chairman Steve Schmidt. “Our party is energized and ready to support our candidates and ensure success on November 5th.”
