HUNTSVILLE – Huntsville Hospital Foundation is hosting a “Stuff the Stocking” donation box to collect toys, toiletries and other items for patients who are hospitalized at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children during the holidays.

The campaign runs through Dec. 30.

“Stuff the Stocking provides a tangible way for families and organizations to help our pediatric and adult patients this holiday season,” said Elizabeth Sanders, vice president of Women & Children. “No one wants to be away from home this time of year, but we hope these donations can touch those in departments all across our hospital.

“Just the gift of a toy, blanket or gift card can bring joy and brighten their day. We are incredibly appreciative of everyone who chooses to donate.”

Benefiting departments include Pediatrics, Mother/Baby, the Neonatal ICU, Labor & Delivery, the Breast Center, Antepartum and more. Each department provided a list of its key needs, which can be found at www.huntsvillehospitalfoundation.org/stuff-the-stocking.

Donations of new, unused and unwrapped items may be brought to the “Stuff the Stocking” donation box in the Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children lobby. The name of the department should be taped to the outside of the gift.
