Huntsville-based cybersecurity and compliance firm Summit 7 has been named one of the world’s top managed service providers, earning the No. 25 spot on the 2026 MSP 501 list.
The annual ranking, compiled by MSP Summit, recognizes managed service providers based on financial performance, recurring revenue, operational efficiency and long-term business stability rather than revenue alone.
Summit 7’s ranking places it among the highest-performing managed service providers globally and reflects the company’s continued growth serving the Defense Industrial Base with cybersecurity, compliance and cloud solutions.
“The 2026 MSP 501 winners represent the highest-performing and most innovative IT providers in the industry today,” said Robert DeMarzo, vice president of content for Channel Events. “Today’s managed services organizations serve as the backbone to the world’s small, medium and large organizations, and the MSP 501 sets the standard for all other MSPs.”
According to MSP Summit, companies are evaluated using a methodology that measures recurring revenue strength, operational performance, business health and long-term sustainability.
“We’re honored to be recognized among the top managed service providers worldwide,” Summit 7 CEO Scott Edwards said. “We’ve earned our MSP 501 ranking through the strength of our team, the trust of our customers, and our commitment to securing the nation’s most sensitive data.”
Founded in Huntsville, Summit 7 specializes in cybersecurity and compliance services for defense contractors, with expertise in Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), NIST 800-171 and DFARS requirements within Microsoft GCC High environments.
The company has grown rapidly in recent years, expanding from about 100 employees to more than 300 over the past three years. Summit 7 has also appeared on the CRN Fast Growth 150 and Inc. 5000 lists.
Summit 7 said the latest recognition underscores its role as a strategic partner for organizations navigating increasingly complex cybersecurity and compliance requirements across the defense supply chain.
