Teledyne Brown promotes two employees to VP upon naming Scott Hall new company president

Teledyne Brown Engineering in Huntsville announced last week the promotion of senior director of Maritime Systems Chuck Herbert to the position of vice president of Maritime Systems and associate vice president of Manufacturing Jeff Holley to vice president of Manufacturing and Hardware Operations.

Both promotions come on the heels of long-time TBE president Jan Hess’ retirement and the promotion of Scott Hall to Engineered Systems segment president, which includes Teledyne Brown Engineering and their sister companies, Teledyne Energy Systems and Teledyne Advanced Electronic Solutions.

Herbert will now be leading TBE’s strategic direction in the maritime surface, subsurface and special operations defense markets. He brings over 30 years of leadership experience from the U.S. Navy as a Navy SEAL commanding officer and U.S. Department of Defense major program manager. His expertise across special operations, maritime systems, and financial management roles enables him to successfully manage diverse, technically challenging, and unique programs.

Holley will continue to lead manufacturing operations with responsibilities for the fabrication and assembly of the company’s energy, space, and defense manufacturing programs. He has over 34 years of experience in complex manufacturing and has been instrumental in numerous key awards for the company.

“I am pleased for both Chuck and Jeff in their new roles,” said Hall “Their leadership and influence has been exemplary, and I am confident that they will contribute greatly to the future of our business.”
