ATHENS The organizers of the annual Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention aren’t fiddling around when it comes to the annual music festival.

In fact, with the convention still about nine months away, the Athens State University Foundation and the convention’s Steering Committee announced the entertainment lineup for the convention set for Oct. 1-4.

The entertainment lineup is:

  • Oct. 1, 7:30 p.m. – Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers (free preview night gospel concert – no admission ticket required)
  • Oct. 2, 7:30 p.m. – Pitney Meyer
  • Oct. 3, 6 p.m. – Jimmy Fortune
  • Oct. 4, 8 p.m. – Rhonda Vincent & The Rage

All concerts will be on the Main Stage at Founders Hall. Access to all Fiddlers Convention entertainment is included with the purchase of an admission ticket.

Single-day admission wristbands are $20 each; weekend passes are $30. Children under 12 will be admitted free with a paid adult.

The Oct. 1 preview night concert is free and does not require the purchase of an admission ticket.

Tickets are on sale and competition registration is open at www.TVOTFC.org.
