For the second straight week, Alabama A&M quarterback Cornelious Brown IV was selected the Southwestern Athletic Conference co-Offensive Player of the Week.
A redshirt senior, Brown was 21-of-33 passing for 329 yards and two touchdowns in Alabama A&M’s 23-21 come-from-behind victory Saturday over Tennessee State in the inaugural Legacy Series game. He had touchdown passes of 5 and 30 yards.
Brown shared the SWAC Offensive honor with Alabama State’s Andrew Body.
Alabama A&M returns to action with the final home night game of the season Saturday when Lane College visits The Hill. Kickoff against the Dragons is set for 6 p.m. from Louis Crews Stadium.
