Jerry Seinfeld — Huntsville

July 10th

One of comedy’s biggest names is bringing his signature observational humor to the Rocket City this weekend. Jerry Seinfeld will take the stage at the Von Braun Center’s Mark C. Smith Concert Hall on Friday, July 10, for an evening of stand-up featuring the sharp, everyday comedy that has made him one of the most successful comedians of all time. Whether you’re a lifelong fan of Seinfeld or simply looking for a night of laughs, this is a rare chance to see the comedy icon perform live in North Alabama.

Second Saturdays — Hartselle

July 11th

Downtown Hartselle comes alive during Second Saturdays, a monthly celebration that highlights local businesses, artisans and community spirit. Visitors can stroll through downtown while shopping with local vendors, enjoying live music, grabbing a bite from food trucks and taking part in family-friendly activities throughout the evening. Whether you’re discovering a new favorite shop or simply enjoying a night out, it’s a great way to experience one of North Alabama’s most vibrant downtown districts.

Athens Lions Club Kiddie Carnival — Athens

July 16th-18th

A summertime tradition for generations of North Alabama families, the Athens Lions Club Kiddie Carnival is the perfect place to make sweet summer memories. Open Thursday through Saturday evenings, the carnival features 10 kid-sized rides designed for children ages 2 to 10, with every ride costing just 50 cents and admission completely free. Families can also enjoy classic carnival fare like funnel cakes, hot dogs and popcorn, while every ticket purchased helps the Athens Lions Club support local community service projects.

30th Annual Saddle Up for St. Jude — Tuscumbia

July 16th-18th

Trade the city for the trails at the 30th annual Saddle Up for St. Jude, a three-day fundraiser that combines live country music, horseback riding and family-friendly fun, all while supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Held at Gardiner Farms in Tuscumbia, the event features performances by Shenandoah, Jo Dee Messina and Rodney Atkins, plus more than 3,000 acres of riding trails, food vendors, a kids zone, pony rides and a Saturday auction. Whether you’re coming for the concerts, the horses or the cause, every ticket helps support lifesaving care for children.

No matter how you spend the weekend, these events offer a chance to experience the people, places and traditions that make North Alabama unique. Grab your friends or family, support local communities and enjoy everything the region has to offer before a new week begins.
