9-1-1 Festival — Haleyville

Head to Haleyville for the annual 9-1-1 Festival on June 5-6, a two-day celebration honoring the town’s claim to fame as the site of America’s first-ever 911 call. Hosted by the Haleyville Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Haleyville, the festival features live music, food and craft vendors, a parade, a free kids zone, classic car and antique tractor shows and special recognition for first responders. Admission is free, making it an easy way to enjoy a weekend of family fun while celebrating a uniquely North Alabama piece of history.
100 Years of Babies Celebration — Huntsville
June 6th
For 100 years, North Alabama families have welcomed their newest additions with the help of Huntsville Hospital, and now the health system is inviting the community to celebrate the milestone. Presented by Huntsville Hospital Health System, the free 100 Years of Babies Celebration takes place June 6 at The Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville. Families can enjoy inflatables, games, food trucks and giveaways from 6-8 p.m. before the evening wraps up with The Orion’s first-ever drone show at 8:30 p.m. honoring a century of babies, families and memories. Admission is free, but reserving tickets is encouraged.
The Frontmen at The Bluff Amphitheater — Gadsden
June 6th
Country music fans, this one’s for you. The Frontmen are bringing decades of chart-topping hits to Hokes Bluff on June 6 for one of the first major concerts at The Bluff Amphitheater and Campground. The trio features the powerhouse voices of Richie McDonald of Lonestar, Larry Stewart of Restless Heart and Tim Rushlow of Little Texas, coming together for a night packed with the songs that helped define ’90s country. Gates open at 5 p.m., with music beginning at 8 p.m. Grab your boots and get ready to sing along to some country classics under the North Alabama sky.
Stevenson Depot Days — Stevenson

This beloved weeklong festival returns to downtown Stevenson June 8-13, honoring the town’s rich railroad heritage with a packed schedule of community events, including a parade, live music, food vendors, a car show, family activities and more. Rock the South — Decatur

If your ideal summer weekend includes country music, cold drinks and thousands of your closest friends, it’s time to start counting down to Rock the South. Known as “The Biggest Party in the South,” the three-day festival returns June 11-13 at its new home, The Fields at Decatur, with a star-studded lineup featuring Jason Aldean, Riley Green, Zach Top, Jessie Murph, Brantley Gilbert, Travis Tritt, Lauren Alaina and more.
